Connect Google Ads

Connect your Google Ads account to Helios using secure OAuth authentication. This gives Helios read access to your account structure and keywords, and write access to push generated content.

Before You Start

You’ll need:

• A Google Ads account (or access to one via MCC)
• Permission to create customizers in the account

Tip

If you manage multiple accounts through an MCC (Manager Account), you only need to authenticate once. Helios will show all accessible accounts.

Connection Steps

1. Click Connect Google Ads on the dashboard
2. Sign in with your Google account
3. Review the permissions Helios is requesting
4. Click Allow to grant access
5. Select the account you want to work with

What Permissions Does Helios Need?

Helios requests the following access:

Permission	Why It’s Needed
View account structure	To show your campaigns, ad groups, and keywords
View keyword performance	To analyze which headlines are working
Manage customizers	To push generated headlines and descriptions

Caution

Helios never modifies your bids, budgets, or campaign settings. It only creates and updates customizer attributes.

Troubleshooting

“Access Denied” error

• Make sure you’re signing in with an account that has access to the Google Ads account
• If using MCC, ensure the sub-account is linked and accessible

Account not appearing

• Try disconnecting and reconnecting your Google account
• Check that the account has at least one active campaign
