Connect Google Ads
Connect your Google Ads account to Helios using secure OAuth authentication. This gives Helios read access to your account structure and keywords, and write access to push generated content.
Before You Start
Section titled “Before You Start”You’ll need:
- A Google Ads account (or access to one via MCC)
- Permission to create customizers in the account
Connection Steps
Section titled “Connection Steps”- Click Connect Google Ads on the dashboard
- Sign in with your Google account
- Review the permissions Helios is requesting
- Click Allow to grant access
- Select the account you want to work with
What Permissions Does Helios Need?
Section titled “What Permissions Does Helios Need?”Helios requests the following access:

| View keyword performance | To analyze which headlines are working |
| Manage customizers | To push generated headlines and descriptions |
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”“Access Denied” error
- Make sure you’re signing in with an account that has access to the Google Ads account
- If using MCC, ensure the sub-account is linked and accessible
Account not appearing
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting your Google account
- Check that the account has at least one active campaign
